If the sun had never shined
by Sean M. Brown

If the sun had never shined
How would light be defined?
If the moon had no force
Would the waves have remorse?
If the earth stopped its turn
Would its core still burn?
If the sun had never shined
Would the universe lose its mind?

SEAN M. BROWN is a student at Rutgers–Camden.
