A Child is Growing

A child is growing.
    Warm,
Within watery
               wonderful darkness.
    Welcomed Child —
        Anticipated,
           Planned for,
                Cherished unseen.
What a pleasant thing
to
be able
to say
                    In unchallenged truth,
                                with certainty.
           Life is good.
        New life is on the way.

 

GINA ZIMNIUCH is a creative writer and visual artist in soul and spirit. She lives a “narrated and illustrated life.” Many years of scrambling through the corporate world fed financial needs but not spiritual. Today, as a small business owner, she has the luxury of enjoying a much finer balance.
