Beate Sigriddaughter
Beate Sigriddaughter grew up in post–WWII Germany and loves riding roller coasters. Three times a Pushcart Prize nominee, she has published prose and poetry in many literary magazines and ezines. Her most recent book, The Unicorn And… (2008) is a collection of stories and philosophies of a white unicorn who, per Kirkus Discoveries, navigates the world with “analytical innocence.” Beate is the founder of the Glass Woman Prize (details at www.sigriddaughter.com), which honors passionate women’s voices. She sometimes reads submissions to the Glass Woman Prize while waiting in line for a roller coaster.
